Caroline Bach, photographer, has showed the series of photographs from her project entitled “The cycle of Work”.
Pierre Kirgo, social-psychologist who has discussed the concept of acedia and its resonance today in the working world. 
Place :  an office in the 9th district of Paris.  On the agenda: tasting of the Burgundy Grand Cru Clos Vougeot, founded by Cistercian monks in response among others  against acedia.

Daynà, founded by Pascal Tribouillier, who has performed  a traditional ayurvedic head massage.

Pierre Kirgo, labour’s psychosociologist has explained us how an excessive indivividualism determines  the labour’s world and reduces the collective bond.

Susanne Junker, photographer, has shared a series  of self-portraits .

That evening, each of the the guests  has discovered the cuisine of the hair stylist Olivier Dutel who has converted his fingers to the great cuisine. The dishes have come with a tempting range of wines. In order: a champagne of the côte des blancs  aged in cellar with  Rostello di San Stefano, Parmegiano di Angelo da Milano, Nizza Oliva, Amanda de Mallorca, Radicci di Pariggi and sel de celeri. A Domaine Daniel-Etienne Defaix Chablis 1er Cru Cote  de Léchet  2001 with a mousse of Pastinaca sativa with eggs of Cyclopterus lumpus  and a slice of pumpernikel. A Château Haut-Batailley, Pauillac 1989, Grand Cru Classé of 1855 on a  veal Blanquette and crunchy spring vegetables. A Ramos-Pinto Vintage Port 1983 on a pâte persillée of Stilton in Derbyshire county. The unmatched Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Spätlese Grünlack 2009 served with delicious strawberries Mille-feuilles.

March 19, 2011 – BP – Guest Robert Kluijver – Zerda 75010

For this lunch, Linda Grabe and Samantha Barroero have gathered:

The BP artists group, represented by its co-founder Renaud Layrac. Between 1984 and 2008, the BP group used petroleum oil and its by-products as both content and form. Today, their artworks can be found in major collections such as the Pompidou Center in Paris and the Mamco in Geneva.

Robert Kluijver teaches a masterclass on east-west cultural discord at the Institut d’ Etudes politiques in Paris. Robert has used his on-the-spot experience of the arab region to defend its art scene as both an author and curator. In 2005 He secured the presence of the first afghan pavilion at the Venice Biennale.Just returned from the Dubai Art Fair(16-19 March 2011) and the Sharjah Biennale, he has given us a report on significant emerging artists in the arabian peninsula.

The meal has taken us on a journey from North Africa to the north of the Euphrates valley, sampling wines from the vineyards of theAtlas Mountains in Morocco, Mount Bargylius in Syria, and theBekaa Valley in Lebanon. The lunch has been a wonderful opportunity to discover the delicious cuisine of Zerda, one of the oldest north african restaurants in Paris (created in 1946). Chef Jaffar Achour and his son Madjid will prepare a  three-part sardine dish, a traditional  sweet-spicied pastilla, and a delicate Berber couscous. Sweet middle eastern pastries and liqueurs will round off our dinner.

Thomas Palme, German artist, perceived as  a « drawing machine » haunted by philosophical, historical, religious, scientific and metaphysical figures.
Jean-Claude Galey, French ethnologist, director of studies at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) who presented the artist’s work.
And… stageBACKan experimental artspace created by Susanne junker in Shanghai in 2008 with whom we celebrated the Chinese new year!

During the whole evening, each of the guests has also discovered : the tasteful cuisine of chef Dominique Le Meur; the wonderful story of the Gardener of Lauterbach; fascinating images on screen and on paper;   the subtle bubble of the Cuvee Blanc des Millénaires 1995 from Charles Heidsieck; the deep Chablis premier cru Côte de Lechet 2001 from the  Rabelaisian Daniel-Etienne Defaix; three exceptional vintages from the elegant Château Palmer, Margaux Grand Cru Classé of 1855 ; the great and confidential so-called yellow wine from Château-Châlon 2002 made by Jean Macle ; the liquid Rheingold with the Riesling Spätlese 2009 from the historicalSchloss Johannisberg,  and more  “Merveilles” for dessert…
